Kirsten Zöllner played last season for the first time in the BBL. In 2006/2007 he played at AONS Milonas Athens in the second Greek league.
Zöllner started his basketball career playing at the age of 16 for TK Hanover. 2001 he decided to go to the motherland of basketball, playing first at Boston College (NCAA 1), leaving 2003 for the University of Albany (NCAA 1).
There he was a very successful player gaining in his last season 2005/2006 on average 7,5 points and 4,9 rebounds. Albany even became champion of the Eastern Conference.
