„I´ve found my role in Frankfurt“

Gives you the today´s game confidence for the next games against Tübingen and Ulm?
Pascal Roller: Well, confidence looks different. In the second half it has taken revenge that we came from the rhythm and couldn´t score. But we should carry the positive aspects into the next games, which will be very hard.
How importantly is it to be begun successfully in the second half of the season, because the play-offs get closer?
Every play counts for us and is very crucial. Just because we stand on top of the table and the other teams want to get there. The fight for these table places is big and every defeat throws back to us a piece. That’s why, we try to win so many games as possible and defend our position.
As a player do you often think about the play-offs or is the concentration directed exclusively on the upcoming games?
For me the play-offs are far away right now, but absolutely I look sometimes on the table to see how the status of the team and the opponents is. Still this may not degenerate because it would cost too much concentration. It is important to concentrate upon the next games and to progress therefore step by step.
Last Saturday the annual Allstar Day took place. Last year you were chosen for the seventh time in the Allstar-team. Unfortunately, it has not been enough this time. Are you disappointed?
I was a bit sad, that it was not enough this time. But I could achieve many points in the game for my team, what comforts me. In addition, I was present already so often that I could be glad for those who were present this time. Many German players have been chosen what I think is very nice.
Can you fancy a reason, why the fans have not chosen you in the all-star game?
The fans themselves know this best of all. Maybe it is due to the fact that I have found my role in Frankfurt and am not remarkable any more so noticeable. On the other side I win many games for the DEUTSCHE BANK SKYLINERS. It is difficult to say, because players like Aubrey Reese would have also deserved to be chosen in the team. I think that there simply are not enough places in the Allstar-team.
Did you still follow the spectacle which took place in Bonn this year?
Yes, I have watched it on television. But I didn´t drive there.
