Basketball connects

The students of the integration course from the Berlitz-School all have the same aim: they want to learn the German language, to find work and a new home in this country. Starting from now they have something else in common: the fun at basketball.
Lotto Hessen sponsors tickets for the migrants to watch every home game of Murat Didin’s team. This support is part of the project „one language, many chances“.
One of the faciliators of the project from the DEUTSCHE BANK SKYLINERS is Dominik Bahiense de Mello. In December he visited his language course for the first time - and was happy about the return visit of the young German students at the last home game.
Dominik: “It’s nice to see that the students go in for something in their free time either. Solidarity is important, if you’re in a foreign country. I am always excited when the boys and girls from the Berlitz-School come to the game and cheer for us.“
And if we win, like against Paderborn and Ludwigsburg, the guests out of the whole world are able to share something else: the elation.
